661 CrossXover Hardtop – Fresh Off the Line and Off to Motueka

A stunning 661 CrossXover Hardtop rolled out of the factory in Milton recently, finished in grey and black with a red pinstripe and a Mercury outboard on the back.
First stop was the Christchurch Outdoor Expo from the 2nd to the 4th of October, where Vic and the team from Bays Boating had her on their stand alongside some other McLay Boats. From there she headed north to the Bays Boating yard in Motueka.

The 661 is the largest boat in our CrossXover range of aluminium boats. It’s all new from the water line up, with wide gull wings for stability at rest and a finer bow entry for a soft ride. The hull is much wider inside than previous models, so you get a huge cockpit and standard seating for 7 adults – it feels like a much bigger boat than it is.
It still has the extra safety of 100’s of litres of buoyancy foam under the gunnels.
